Between 19 and 21 May 2025, the eFTI4EU project was present at the 16th ITS European Congress in Seville, one of Europe’s flagship events for smart and sustainable mobility.

Project coordinators Eva Killar and Enriko Laanemäe from the Estonian Ministry of Climate, together with Teemu Heikura from Fintraffic, represented eFTI4EU during the three-day event, engaging with experts from across the transport, policy, and innovation landscape.

A key highlight was Teemu Heikura’s presentation on eFTI, hosted at the Nordic+ booth. The session offered valuable insights into how the eFTI Regulation will support the digital transformation of freight transport across Europe, and was an opportunity to share progress made by the eFTI4EU project with an audience of sector leaders and decision-makers.

The ITS Congress provided a valuable platform to raise awareness of eFTI implementation efforts and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders from across the EU.
