Another significant achievement in the eFTI journey: the eFTI4LIVE project has been officially approved, securing €23.8 million in funding under the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility!
This ambitious 48-month initiative builds on the successes of the eFTI4EU and eFTI4ALL projects, aiming to accelerate the implementation of the eFTI Regulation across Europe.
Bringing together 31 partners from 16 EU Member States, along with third-country observers, eFTI4LIVE focuses on critical areas such as platform certification, governance, interoperability frameworks, and go-live planning. The project is a key step toward creating a seamless, efficient, and paperless freight transport ecosystem.
As part of the growing eFTI community, eFTI4LIVE will help turn regulatory objectives into practical solutions, reinforcing Europe’s commitment to digitalizing freight transport and boosting competitiveness and sustainability. This marks an important milestone in the journey toward a fully digital European freight network.
