On 23 October, the eFTI4EU project, together with its sister initiative eFTI4ALL, participated in the BVL Supply Chain CX event in Germany. The joint presence showcased the projects’ efforts to support the implementation of the eFTI regulation and highlighted how digital tools are shaping cross-border transport and logistics.

During the panel discussion titled “Did you hear already something about eFTI?”, primarily aimed at companies in the logistics sector, GBK Trusted Partner, the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Albrecht Consult and ABONA participated as members of both project consortia. Additionally, the panel saw the participation of Raoul Wintjes, Head of Air Freight Forwarding, International Road Haulage and Digitalisation at DSLV Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik, speaking as representative of the German logistics sector. Raoul contributed valuable insights from the perspective of logistics companies, drawing also on his role as a member of the Digital Transport and Logistics Forum (DTLF).

The discussion attracted significant interest and was closely followed by an engaged audience, who raised many questions and expressed strong curiosity about digital freight initiatives. The panel was highly successful in fostering knowledge exchange and dialogue among experts and key stakeholders in the logistics and transport industries.
