On 18 March 2026, eFTI4EU partner DigiLogistika Keskus (Digital Logistics Centre of Excellence), together with the Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija (Lithuania State Tax Inspectorate) and partners under the eFTI4EU project, carried out a cross-border eFTI test in Vilnius.
The pilot involved transport operations across the Baltic region, enabling the seamless exchange of freight data between Estonia and Lithuania. Authorities were able to access the required transport information instantly via mobile devices, without stopping vehicles.
The test also demonstrated different access methods, including QR codes and vehicle registration-based queries, confirming the flexibility of eFTI solutions.
