Germany Pilot

The German pilots are about the development of an open source eFTI Platform Reference Implementation for eCMR and the development of an eFTI authority access point. The pilot developments are intended to demonstrate how company data can be processed in the eFTI environment and how competent authorities can access it.

Transport mode: Road

eFTI – Competent Authority Systems (CAS)

This pilot will focus on the connection and communication from a CA user application to the eFTI-Exchange environment. It will test the conditions necessary for creating the acceptance obligation and retrieving eFTI data using eFTI identifiers, while also ensuring that the preconditions for the acceptance obligation of the CAs are established.

Objectives

The pilot is about learning and knowledge sharing about how-to integrate the eFTI data exchange environment into a user application of a competent authority. It will provide insights into the functionality and structure of the eFTI system, for example:

  • AAP to Gate communication
  • connection of a user application to the eFTI exchange environment
  • data presentation for control personnel
  • data transfer to control case file

Technical Components

  • CA-AAP to the gate
  • software user interface
  • eFTI gate search mechanism

Open Source eFTI Platform Reference Implementation for eCMR

The pilot demonstrates a simple and transparent connection of Economic Operators and their IT systems to the eFTI ecosystem via an Open Source Reference Implementation of an eFTI Platform. This demonstration will also be conducted from the perspective of the Economic Operators and eFTI Gates.

Objectives

  • Mapping of company data (eCMR data) to eFTI Data Sets
  • eFTI Platform Reference Implementation
  • Open Source eFTI Platform
  • Open Source eFTI Common Dataset

Technical components

  • eCMR Service
  • eFTI Platform
  • eFTI Gate (for Platform Demonstration purpose)
  • eFTI Common Dataset
