On Tuesday December 10 2024, the Lithuanian transport and logistics community gathered for the “Innovation Day”, a national event organized by eFTI4EU Project partner Transport Innovation Association (TIA) in Vilnius.
Designed as a platform for collaboration and exchange, the event brought together several association members, including transport and logistics sector operators, IT companies, and legal and financial service providers, for an in-depth discussion on key trends and innovations shaping the industry.
The event explored various topics, from recent transport sector developments to the introduction of new members and initiatives within the association. A dedicated session focused on the eFTI Regulation and the progress achieved through the eFTI4EU project. Furthermore, the presentation focused on the recently started eFTI4ALL initiative, which builds upon the work of eFTI4EU, placing a strong emphasis on eFTI Platforms, as well as actively involving Economic Operators to promote widespread implementation of the Regulation 2020/1056.
Participants discovered the last updates of ongoing activities, shared insights, and discussed expectations for the year ahead, emphasizing the regulation’s potential to transform the sector by enhancing digitalization and regulatory compliance. The day ended with a networking session, with a glass of mulled wine for all the participants.
“Innovation Day” successfully fostered dialogue among stakeholders, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration to address emerging challenges and leverage new opportunities in the transport and logistics sector.
