On Wednesday, 11 June 2025, the eFTI4EU project hosted the second session in its webinar series, eFTI Insights, bringing together more than 80 participants from across Europe. This session focused on the theme “eFTI Implementation for Member States”, and was specifically designed for competent authorities, ministries, and public sector professionals involved in digital transport and logistics.
The webinar offered valuable guidance to public authorities navigating the transition to digital freight data systems—drawing from real-world experiences and key project findings.
The agenda featured several insightful contributions:
- A walkthrough of real-world transport scenarios to show how eFTI works in practice
- A focused discussion on the value of use cases in planning national implementation
- Practical guidance on how to establish an Authority Access Point, a critical step for Member States to receive and process eFTI-compliant data
Speakers included representatives from the eFTI4EU project and guest experts from Member States already progressing with their eFTI strategies. Their input helped shed light on both the opportunities and challenges public actors can expect as they move from planning to action. The session also served as a platform for open discussion. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives, highlighting the value of this webinar series in supporting collaboration, peer learning, and common understanding across national authorities.
