On 26 March 2026, eFTI4EU partner IN Groupe participated in a conference organised by the French National Road Transport Federation (FNTR), bringing together key stakeholders from the road transport sector.
The event focused on major challenges shaping the sector, including decarbonisation, digitalisation, and evolving EU policies. Discussions highlighted the need to accelerate the transition to greener solutions while ensuring competitiveness for operators, particularly SMEs.
The main focus of the discussion was the eFTI Regulation, the initiatives supporting its implementation, and the development of the French pilot. IN Groupe also presented its role in operating the French National Gate, currently functional and being tested with solution providers, alongside the control application developed by the Direction Générale des Infrastructures, des Transports et des Mobilités (DGITM).
The session also offered a first preview of the next eFTI4EU & eFTI4ALL Yearly Conference, which will take place in Paris in October 2026. More information will soon be shared on our channels (stay tuned!).
