On 25 September 2025, IN Groupe and the French Ministry of Transport, partners in the eFTI4EU project, showcased the French eFTI pilot during the European Labour Authority (ELA) annual meeting. The event took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, with the possibility of remote participation. Nearly 400 enforcement authorities, policymakers, and sector experts from across Europe participated, highlighting cross-border cooperation in the road transport sector.
During the meeting, a DG MOVE representative delivered a keynote titled “Update on Electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI),” followed by the French Ministry of Transport presenting the French eFTI pilot as part of the discussion on digital tools supporting enforcement authorities, including labour inspectorates.
The session emphasized the role of eFTI as a future multi-functional enforcement tool alongside complementary systems such as ERRU.
