On Tuesday 24 June 2025, eFTI4EU partner Circle participated in the “Osservatorio Digital B2B: nella Terra di Mezzo” event, hosted by the Politecnico di Milano. The annual gathering, a key reference point for innovation in business-to-business processes, focused on topics such as digital document management, EU regulatory developments (eFTI, eIDAS2 and eCMR), sustainability, and the growing role of AI in public–private interactions. Circle presented insights from Italy’s first real-life eFTI pilot, which successfully tested the full digitalisation of cross-border freight documentation between Italy and Austria (read the news here).
The presentation in Milan underscored the collaborative nature of the pilot, which brought together public and private actors to validate both technological readiness and operational feasibility. Alongside Circle, key stakeholders involved included eFTI4EU Partners RAM S.p.A., the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, together with Codognotto, Scortrans, ACCUDIRE, ANITA, and Fedespedi.
