From April 8th to 10th, the Work group “Cross-border Pilots with Dangerous Goods” convened in Aix-en-Provence, France, heralded as an eFTI4EU Cross Fertilization Event. Over the course of three days, the event delved into various pertinent topics shaping the landscape of modern logistics.
The discussions spanned a wide array of subjects, including an exploration of the current state of tools available to authorities for processing electronic transport documents. Additionally, there were in-depth sessions on eDelivery mechanisms, the eFTI Data Model, and its alignment with regulatory frameworks. The agenda also prominently featured practical demonstrations to illustrate these concepts in action.
The main focal point of the event was the handling of dangerous goods and the corresponding pilot programs aimed at enhancing safety protocols and regulatory compliance in this critical area.
