The first eFTI Implementing Act and the first two Delegated Acts have been finally adopted by the Commission, respectively on 5, 15 and 26 July 2024. The first Implementing Act (procedures and access rules for competent authorities) can be found here, while the two Delegated Acts (national provisions in scope, eFTI common data set & data subsets) are available here.
However, these acts will not be instantly published in the EU’s Official Journal. At the time of writing, the Acts have been sent to the European Parliament and the Council when they were adopted. These bodies have two months from the date of this transmission to exercise their right of objection. Subsequently, the Implementing Act and the Delegated Acts will be released jointly when this timeframe has passed.
In accordance with recent EU Commission processes, these Acts are now open for public access via the “Have Your Say” webpage, even in the interim until they are officially published. Stay tuned to remain updated on their official publishing in the Official Journal, coming definetely into effect.
