On 26 March 2026, the PROLOG Supply Chain Conference brought together logistics and supply chain professionals in Tallinn to discuss how companies can adapt to an increasingly complex and crisis-driven environment. The event combined international perspectives with strong local expertise, offering practical insights into navigating ongoing changes in the sector.

In this occasion, eFTI and digitalisation were highlighted as key themes during the conference. In the parallel session on digitalisation, Enriko Laanemäe (Estonian Ministry of Climate and eFTI4EU project coordinator) contributed to a panel discussion focusing on the use of digital transport documents and their legal framework, alongside industry experts. The discussion addressed real-life use cases and the growing importance of interoperable digital solutions in freight transport.

In addition, Villu Varjas (DG MOVE) represented the European Commission perspective in a separate session, emphasising the role of eFTI in enabling cross-border data exchange and supporting the digital transformation of logistics across Europe.

The conference demonstrated continued interest from both public authorities and industry stakeholders in eFTI-related developments, highlighting the need for practical implementation, legal clarity, and cross-border cooperation.
