The Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility, encompassing all modes of transportation for passengers and freight in urban and non-urban areas. The conference addresses the primary challenges of the industry, considering energy, environmental, safety and digitalisation aspects and issues.
The event’s audience comprises academia, public administrations, transport operators, users, experts from all transport modes, and policymakers, representing stakeholders from key European institutions and entities, such as the European Commission, the European Transport Research Alliance (ETRA), the European Technology Platform Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe (ALICE), and the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC).
From April 15th to April 18th, 2024, the Transport Research Arena 2024 took place in Dublin, Ireland, with the theme of Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility. Within this vibrant and dynamic environment of exchanges and interactions with relevant stakeholders, eFTI4EU was represented by Eva Killar, Project Coordinator from the Ministry of Climate of Estonia. On April 18th, Killar delivered a speech presenting eFTI4EU, while for the whole duration of the event the Project was also featured on a dedicated poster in the event’s hall.
