On 28 November, the eFTI4EU project was honored with a Special Mention during the prestigious Public Sector Tech Watch – Best Cases Award 2024, held as part of the GovTech Connect Assembly in Brussels.
The GovTech Connect Assembly is a key platform for fostering dialogue between European leaders, startups, investors, and academics, aimed at addressing Europe’s most pressing challenges through innovative technological solutions.
The Public Sector Tech Watch session specifically recognized projects and initiatives that exemplify the effective use of emerging technologies, such as Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, within the public sector.
eFTI4EU stood out for its achievements in interoperability and its innovative use of blockchain technology to enhance digital logistics transport systems. eFTI4EU Project Coordinator Eva Killar (Ministry of Climate, Estonia) accepted the award on behalf of the Consortium.
Following the ceremony, Eva had the opportunity to present the project’s key developments, stressing how eFTI4EU is crucial in making the future of freight transport digital. More importantly, this award is a great recognition to the great work, dedication and collective efforts of the eFTI4EU Consortium since the beginning of the project and reinforces our commitment to pushing boundaries in digital logistics.
A heartfelt thank you to GovTech Connect for this meaningful recognition and for the opportunity to showcase our work at such an important event.
